Creation Science

NightLight Home Up

Both "Scientific Creationism" and "Biblical Creationism" have been favorite pursuits of mine since even before I became a Christian.  Initially believing in the traditional evolution indoctrination of the public school system, it was not until deeper study on my own during college, that I began to see the inconsistencies, impossibilities, and often - utter nonsense masquerading as "science" in text books and popular literature.  A deep love of science and nature, propelled me to dig beyond the surface rhetoric and canned answers (on BOTH sides) to find the actual facts behind the interpretations and religious posturing of these debating sides.

What I discovered was a startling ... even breathtaking ... lack of any evidence whatsoever for the concept of evolution (technically "macro evolution").  While at the same time, an enormous mountain of evidence for a relatively "young" Earth and solar system, and a biosphere of plants and animals which "reproduce after their own kind" (meaning NOT evolving from one kind to another).

Over the years of my interest in this topic, the amount of good scientific materials available for those holding to the Biblical Creation view has multiplied by hundreds, if not thousands of times.  Exciting discoveries in all fields of science (most especially astronomy, microbiology, and information science, have consistently directed the honest student farther and farther from the ideas that "chance" and "natural law" can explain the existence of life and the cosmos.  Rather, they point consistently and clearly to the necessity of intelligence, purpose, and energy input from OUTSIDE the universe in order to bring the order, beauty, and function to all that we know.

(Most of my notes in this area are currently being made into a book.  Various chapters will appear here as they near completion...)

Here are a few other documents that I've authored on the subject for various lectures and sermons on the subject.
